Email Account Setup Options
- Send verification emails from eftsure email account
- Use your own domain to send verification emails (Preferred Option)
Send verification emails from eftsure email account
This setup option allows verification emails to be sent from an eftsure email address.
Note: this may result in a slight increase in calls to your company to check if the emails are legitimate. However these calls are typically quick and just require a confirmation that the payee should action the request. The response rate to the emails may also be slightly lower than if the emails are sent from your own domain.
- Choose 'Send verification emails from eftsure email account' > Click Submit
Use your own domain to send verification emails
This setup option allows verification emails to be sent from a company's own email address.
1. Distribution List
Create an email distribution list on your domain called verifications@yourcompanydomain.co.za and add onboarding@eftsure.co.za as one of the distribution list recipients. Ensure the distribution list is configured to allow external emails to be received and distributed to an external email address. (onboarding@eftsure.co.za).
- Once email distribution list has been created, tick 'Email distribution list has been setup' > click submit.
2. DKIM Record Setup
- Add the provided TXT record to your yourcompanydomain.co.za with the following name: mandrill._domainkey.companyname.co.za
3. SPF Record Setup
- Add the provided TXT record to yourcompanydomain.co.za with the following name: yourcompanydomain.co.za
Verify details
- Enter yourcompanydomain.co.za in the text block > click verify.
Note: green ticks will appear in the DKIM and SPF header should the settings be correctly affected.
